Be careful not to confuse him with George W. Brewer, son of Taylor Brewer and Mary Clem, who was also born in July 1893 or 1894 in Wolfe Co., Ky, and who also moved to Middletown, Ohio! I have entered both of them into my database just to have a place to hold the records. (Both of them are listed as born July 1893 in the 1900 census, and both of them have draft registrations that record a birthdate of July 1894.)
His WW I draft registration card, filed 5 June 1917 in Butler Co., Ohio, records George Brewer, age 23, residence 36 Charles St., Middletown, Butler Co., Ky, born 27 July 1894 in Wolfe Co., Ky, occupation feed hoppers, employer American Tab Co., married supporting a wife and 4 children.
(The four children is the evidence that this is the George Brewer who was married to Sarah Link. Also, the George Brewer who was born on 6 July 1893 or 1894 was married in 1942 to a wife named Goldie, whereas Sarah Link Brewer lived to 1986, and was listed as widowed at the time of her death, not divorced.)

1930 census of Butler Co., Ohio, Madison township, enumerated April 20, lists on p. 13B as family #273/276:
