The caption under her picture in the Pictorial History of Rowan County says that she was born Feb. 22, 1869, but she does not appear with her parents in the 1870 census, and she does appear in the 1880 census, as age 9. So she was more likely born in 1871, and somewhere along the line got her age confused.

1930 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Morehead precinct, enumerated 9 April, lists on pp. 16B-17A as family #123, on Dry Creek Road:
Ginter, Henry, 65, age at first marriage 23, no occupation; Annie L., wife, 60, age at first marriage 18; Ova M., dau, 14. All born Ky Ky Ky.

The next household is that of their son Frank, although oddly the numbering jumps back to 119.
