The Kentucky birth index lists Ivory M. Adkins, born 1 Feb 1919 in Rowan Co., mother’s maiden name Marget Col.
Phil's notes describe Frank Ginter's 2nd wife as "an Adkins, Boone's sis, Bill Charles' ex-wife. (Bill Charles m. 2 Lorene Brown, Orvil McClain's ex-wife)". However, Orville McClain’s first wife, and Bill Charles’ second, was really Lorene Bradley, not Brown. Also, it appears from the Kentucky birth index that Bill Charles’ first wife was Ivory Adkins, who did not have a brother named Boone. Boone Adkins was the son of Mack Adkins and Elizabeth Fultz, while Ivory Adkins was the daughter of Charles Adkins and Maggie Cox, making Boone her uncle. (There was also an Ivory Adkins born 1911 in Morgan Co., daughter of Thomas Adkins and Myrtle Adkins, but she married Leonard Lewis and stayed married to him.)
