His WWI draft registration card, issued in 1917/1918 (the images on Ancestry do not show the side of the card that has the date it was filed), says Howard Hall, age 29, residence Clearfield, Ky, born 7 Nov 1887, occupation railroading, fireman & conductor, employer M & N RR, married with wife and 2 children.
The Kentucky Death index lists Howard V. Hall, died 16 Mar 1955 in Rowan Co., residence same, age 68, certificate vol. 13, #06075.
His gravestone says Howard V. Hall, 1886 - 1955. The year of birth is probably off by a year, though, because his parents were married in June of 1886, and the 1910 census lists him as 22.
