His WW I draft registration card, filed 12 Sep 1918, records Tilden Hendricks Caudill, age 42, residence Waltz, Rowan Co., Ky, born 15 Sep 1876, occupation lumbering, nearest relative Rebecca Caudill, wife, same address.

The signature spells his middle name as Hendrix. (The cards were filled out by the registration clerk, so only the signature is ever in the hand of the registrant.)

The Kentucky death index lists Tildon H. Caudill, age 78, died 27 Aug 1955 in Rowan Co., residence same.

The Kentucky death index lists Rebecca A. Caudill, age 77, died 5 Dec 1957 in Rowan Co., residence same.

Tilden and Rebecca were first cousins once removed.

The marriage date I have is also from Debbie. I can’t find their marriage in Rowan Co. or Morgan Co. marriage records. The late 1890’s are fairly complete for both counties, so it may be that they were married in Elliott Co.
