His obituary in the Rowan County News of Thu., May 5, 1949, says "Services for Isaac Kidd, 72, of Elliott Co. were held Saturday at the Kidd home. Rev. Jess Petitt & Rev. Fraley conducted the services and burial was in the White Cemetery. Survivors included his wife, Myrtle Kidd, two sons Lee and Allen, and two daughters, Laura Slusher and Ida Smith, all of Christy.”

(Jesse Petitt wasn't really a preacher. He probably just helped conduct the services, and the obituary writer assumed that meant he was a minister.)

Her death certificate (volume 75, #29706) lists Sarah K. Kidd died in Rowan Co., Ky, on 12 Nov 1911, age 35, in Rowan Co., born 20 Oct 1876 in Rowan Co., father Gordon Cox, mother’s maiden name Martha Barker, cause of death cholera, informant Isaac Kidd.

(Ancestry indexes this as Gordon Cold, because the handwriting constructs an x from two back-to-back curls that don’t quite touch.)
