His death certificate records Isaac Kidd, age 71, born 26 Aug 1877 in Elliott Co., Ky, died 17 Apr 1949 in Morehead, Rowan Co., Ky, married, occupation clay miner, father Pet Kidd, mother’s maiden name Sal Ann Williams, cause of death chronic myocarditis, informant Myrtle Kidd, burial in White Cemetery.

His obituary in the Rowan County News of Thu., May 5, 1949, says "Services for Isaac Kidd, 72, of Elliott Co. were held Saturday at the Kidd home. Rev. Jess Petitt & Rev. Fraley conducted the services and burial was in the White Cemetery. Survivors included his wife, Myrtle Kidd, two sons Lee and Allen, and two daughters, Laura Slusher and Ida Smith, all of Christy.”

(Jesse Petitt wasn't really a preacher. He probably just helped conduct the services, and the obituary writer assumed that meant he was a minister.)

Her death certificate records Carrie Kidd, age 44, born 4 Aug 1896 in Rowan Co., died 7 March 1941 in Rowan Co., Ky, married, wife of Issac Kidd, father Mack Fraley, mother’s maiden name Julie Nickell, both born in Ky, cause of death gun shot wound in head, top of head blown off, due to suicide, informant Issac Kidd, burial in Fraley Cemetery.

I cannot find Isaac or Carrie in the 1920 census.
