1930 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Wagoner precinct, enumerated 12 Apr, lists on p. 5B as family #91:
Jones, Tad, 34, age at first marriage 25; Martha, wife, 32, age at first marriage 19; Casey Jr., son, 11; Oliver, son, 8; Andrew, son, 8; Bernard, son, 6; Willard, son, 5; Leonard, son, 2 9/12; Loran, son, 1 5/12. All born Ky/Ky/Ky.
At face value, the discrepancy between the ages at first marriage (9 years younger than the current age for Tad, and 13 years younger than the current age for Martha) would seem to indicate that Martha had a prior marriage. But the age of Casey suggests that Tad had been married at least 12 years, and therefore that one of these ages is incorrect.
