The Kentucky birth index lists Lona S. Jones, born 7 Oct 1928 in Rowan Co., mother’s maiden name Martha Roberts.
His gravestone as surveyed by the Rowan County Historical Society says Lana L. Jones, with the surveyer’s annotation “Son of Adlai and Martha Jones”, but Jackie Pottle40 gives his name as Lona Jones. Both show his wife as Angie.
The Kentucky death index lists Lona L. Jones, age 56, died 6 Aug 1985 in Rowan Co., residence same, certificate Vol. 49, #24329.
