Marriage Book A, p. 44, records the marriage of John Wallace and Marandia Gregory on 7 Jan 1892.

I cannot find this family in the 1900 or 1910 censuses.

1920 census of Rowan Co., Ky, precinct #7 (Clearfield Road), enumerated 21-23 June, lists on p. 9A as family #43:
Wallace, John, 49, b. WVa WVa WVa; Maranda, wife, 48, b. Ky Ky Ky; Corbet, son, 20; Sanford, son, 18; Fannie, dau, 15; Willie, son, 12; Lacy, dau, 6. Everyone except John has birthplaces listed as Ky Ky Ky, which is inconsistent with the birthplace of West Virginia given for John.

The next household is that of their oldest son Cleve.

1930 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Dry Creek precinct, enumerated 18 Apr, lists on p. 7B as family #120:
Wallace, J. H., farmer, 58, b. WVa WVa WVa, age at first marriage 21; Miranda, wife, 57, b. Ky Ky Ky, age at first marriage 20; Ray, son, 8, b. Ky Ky Ky.

Ray is really their grandson, the son of Robert Wallace and Lutie Foster.
