Deb Howard27 lists Jesse tentatively as a son of Aaron Dehart and Malinda Ellender Dennis (parents of Gabriel P. Dehart), with the notation “parentage not proven”, mainly on the basis of both Gabriel P. Dehart and Jesse moving to Morgan Co. Kentucky in the 1830’s, and because Jesse named a son Gabriel.
