The History of Elliott County, in a profile of the Richard Whitt Sr. family, says that Piety Virginia Adkins, daughter of Elisha Adkins and Amanda Susan Whitt, married Elihu Wilson. It gives no dates, and does not mention the marriage to Remington Winston Tolliver. It is the same Piety Adkins, though, because in the marriage record of her son Elisha Tolliver to Clemmie Hall in Sep 1908, she is referred to as “Pina Wilson.” The marriage to Elihu Wilson most likely took place in Elliott County (it is not recorded in Rowan County.)

1910 census of Elliott Co., Ky, Devils Fork precinct, enumerated in April (undated), lists on p. 3B as family #51/53:
Wilson, Casle, 17, farmer; Maud, wife, 20, first marriage for both, married 0 years, mother of 1 child, 1 living; Silas, brother, 12; Goldie, sister, 3. All born Ky Ky Ky.

It is unclear who the one living child of Maud is supposed to be. (I am putting this record in Elihu and Peity’s notes to show that some of their children were living with Casle, even though Piety was still alive.)
