Rowan Co. marriage book 5, p. 103, records marriage on 5 Aug 1904 of David Marion Manier, farmer, residence Morehead, born Fleming Co., father born Menifee Co., mother born Rowan Co., and Mollie/Millie Gregory (Millie on license, Mollie on return), residence Morehead, born and father born in Rowan Co., mother born Morgan Co., at Presley Manier’s by D. K. Jones, witnesses Chas Bowman and Laura Bowman. According to her daughter Cora, who is still living in Shelby in 2002, the marriage return is incorrect and should say Millie. My notes don’t have any ages; I don’t know whether I just forgot to record them or if the license was missing them.

David and Millie were first cousins once removed, through their mothers’ side (who both had the same maiden name!)

1920 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Wagoner precinct, enumerated 2 Jan, lists on p. 1A as family #6:
