In the 1910 census, Lee is living with his parents (see their notes for the full reading), listed as age 25, married within the year, but Alma is not living with the family. There are three Sturgill households nearby, those of Lewis (45) & Margaret (43), Frank (22) & Mollie (23), and George W. (41) & Mary E. (29), but Alma is not listed in any of those households either.

1920 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Hogtown precinct, enumerated 13 Jan, lists on p. 5A as family #83/87:
Pigman, Lee, 35, moulder at brick factory; Alma, wife, 29; Billie, dau, 7; Clarence, son, 5; Howard, son, 1 2/12. All born Ky Ky Ky.
