Rowan Co. marriage book 11, p. 15, records the marriage on 17 Aug 1918 of Elijah Gregory, 20, born in and resident of Rowan Co., son of George & Effie Gregory, to Sarah Link, 18, born in and resident of Rowan Co., dau of James & Belle Link, at the bedside of the bride, by W. F. Lambert, minister of the United Baptist church, witnesses John Gregory & Henry Gregory.
