Alfrey, 21, farmer, residence Bangor, born and both parents born in Rowan Co, to Martha Walace, 17, residence Morehead, born and mother born in West Virginia, father born Kentucky, at H. T. Walace’s by James H. Gregory, witnesses Jack Tirrell and Joseph Gregory, bond surety by H. T. Walles. (The bond and license both spell Martha’s surname as Walles, while the minister’s return has it as Walace.)
