Va, died 14 Sep 1933 in Blaze, Morgan Co., Ky, married, wife of Sam Link, father Timothy Wallace, mother’s maiden name Polly Clines, both born in W. Va, cause of death pulmonary tuberculosis and influenza, informant Sam Link, Blaze, Ky, burial in Lewis Cemetery.

Ky marriage book 6, p. 521, records the marriage on 1 Feb 1909 of Samie Link, age 20, born in Rowan Co., father Simon Link born in Morgan Co., mother Bell Link, born in Magoffin Co., to Martha Wallace, age 22, born in Rowan Co., father H. T. Wallace, mother Pollie Wallace, both born in W. Va, at D. K. Jones by D. K. Jones, witnesses S. P. Manier and Lizzie Jones. It is recorded as the first marriage for Samuel and the second for Martha, with a consent note attached from Simon Link.

1910 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Farmers precinct, enumerated 14 May, lists on p. 20A as family #336/343:
Link, Samuel, 21, b. Ky Ky Ky, first marriage; Martha, wife, 23, b. WVa WVa WVa, 2nd marriage, married 1 year, mother of 4 children, 4 living; Ezra, son, 3/12, b. Ky WVa WVa; Polly, 12, niece, b. Ky Ky WVa.
It is curious that only one of Martha’s 4 living children is with the family. Presumably the other three are from her marriage to John Alfrey.
1920 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Pearcy precinct, enumerated 29 Jan, lists on p. 6A as family #101/109:
Link, Sam, 30, laborer saw log; Martha, wife, 34; Ezra, son, 10; Clyde, son, 6; Arvil, son, 4; Willard, son, 3/12. All listed as born Ky Ky Ky, although that is inconsistent with other records for Martha.
1930 census of Morgan Co., Ky, Blaze precinct, enumerated 12 April, lists on p. 6A as family #49:
