An online index to Morgan Co., Ky marriage records lists the marriage of Luther McClurg and “Maetie Hurt” on 22 June 1911. Since Myrtle listed her age at first marriage as 17, this is probably a mistranscription of Mertie Hunt.

1920 census of Morgan Co., Ky, Panthers Branch precinct, enumerated 20 Jan, lists on p. 10A as family #176/180:
McClurg, Luther, 40, married, farmer; Silvester, son, 2 6/12; Arnold R., son, 10/12. All born Ky Ky Ky.

The preceding household is Autie Hunt age 32 with wife Carmie age 21, and sister Myrtle McClurg, age 25, married.

1930 census of Morgan Co., Ky, Blaze precinct, enumerated 7 April, lists on p. 5A as family #26:
McClurge, Luther, 48, age at first marriage 29, farmer; Mirtie, wife, 35, age at first marriage 17; Sylvester, son, 12; Arnold, son, 10; Tommie, son, 6; Maxine, dau, 5; Velta, dau, 2. All born Ky Ky Ky.
