Fouch, Roscoe, 50, age at first marriage 20, farmer; Rosa, wife, 50, age at first marriage 24. Knipp, Vera, step-dau, 12. All born Ky Ky Ky.
1940 census of Rowan Co., Ky, ED 103-8 (Hogtown precinct south of C&O RR and north of Hwy 32), enumerated 24 April, listed on p. 11B as family #170, on Christy Creek Rd:
Fouch, Rosco, 60, farm laborer; Rosa, wife, 60. Both born in Kentucky, living in same house in 1935.
Rosa is on one of the lines with supplemental questions; they record that she has been married only once, first married at age 20, mother of two children. This is inconsistent with the census record.
