Notes for Sarah “Sally” Ann Sexton
Some online family trees (probably mostly derived by accepting Ancestry’s hints of suggested records) identify her as the Sarah Sexton age 26 in the 1850 census of Lewis Co., daughter of Daniel Sexton (b. 1778 in New Jersey), but that implied birthdate seems too early to me. (The two marriage records for Solomon and Sarah, in 1854, give her age as 19 and as 27. If she were 26 in 1850, then she would be 30 in 1854.) Also it seems more likely that she would be part of the Sexton family of the Bath and Menifee County area that intermarried so much with the Mynhiers and Statons. Her marriage record said that she was a resident of Bath Co. and born in the Licking River area. (The Daniel Sexton family was in Lewis Co in both 1830 and 1840, so they were not transients there.)

The most likely parentage is that she is the daughter under 5 in the 1830 census reading for William Sexton and Nancy Davis. I have not found the William Sexton family in 1850 even doing a first name search.
Notes for Solomon King & Sarah “Sally” Ann (Family)
Their marriage is recorded in the annual marriage reports to the Kentucky State Auditor for 1854 from both Bath and Morgan Counties.

The Morgan Co. report lists the marriage on 9 June 1854 of Solomon Minear, residence Licking, Morgan Co., age 50, born Licking, Bath Co., to Sarah Sexton, age 27, residence Beach Creek, Bath Co., born Licking River, by Obadiah Sexton.

The Bath Co. report lists the marriage of Solomon Mannar, residence Morgan Co., age 49, born Bath Co., to Sarah Sexton, age 19, residence Bath Co., born Bath Co., by O. Sexton. The line is undated. (The next two entries are for John Link to Rhoda Sexton, and Simon Manier to Mary A. Sexton, also by Obediah Sexton, and also both undated.)

The ages for Sarah are so different that one of them is probably a mistranscription by the clerk from the orginal notes by Obediah Sexton. (1 and 2 can look similar, as can 9 and 7.) Her reported age of 43 in the 1870 census would imply a birthdate about 1827. An age of 19 in 1854 would imply a birthdate about 1835. An age of 27 in 1854 would imply a birthdate about 1827. So the reported age of 27 is more likely the correct one.
Census
I cannot find this family in the 1860 census.

1870 census of Menifee Co., Ky, Dry Ridge precinct, enumerated 27 June, lists on p. 1 as family #1:
Manier, Solomon, 66, farmer; Sarah, 43; Arrena, 15; Rhoda, 13; Wesley, 10; Mary, 8; George, 6; Cynthia, 4. All born in Kentucky.

The next household is that of Obadiah Sexton, age 62, with wife Mary age 56.
