Dates of birth and death are from his gravestone, a double one with Minnie, which spells his name Ernest and has the captions “Father” and “Mother”. I cannot find any other record of his death.

Since Ernest and Cynthia married in 1885 and she died before 1900, they do not appear together in any census. I am including the 1900 census reading for Ernest and his second wife Minnie Myers, because it included four children of Ernest and Cynthia.
