March 1876, married (number of years blank), mother of 3 children, 3 living; John, grandson, 5, b. Sep 1894; Rufus, grandson, 4, b. Mch 1896; Straucy, granddau, 1, b. Jennie has gone back to her maiden name. Will should be listed as a Crisp, and Motie and her children as Christian. Motie was most likely really divorced rather than married, but it is possible that she was only separated.

Levisa may be a sister-in-law rather than a sister, or perhaps a half-sister. Jane’s parents were not married until 1854, and there is no sister Levisa or similar name or age listed with the Gabriel Dehart family in the censuses.
