The reported age for John is very likely incorrect - it would mean that he was only 14 when he married. The 1910 census, which records him as age 47, is a likelier date. At least one of the birthdates for Viola and Clarrie are probably wrong as well, since there are only 8 months between Oct 1888 and June 1889.
