There is no marriage record for Samuel and Martha in Rowan County. They were probably married in Elliott.

Mollie is Martha’s sister. I do not know the name of her first husband or their child.

Stamper, S. S., 48, farmer; Martha, 48, wife; Evart, son, 26, widowed; Hobart, son, 22; Ona, dau, 17; Golda, dau, 14; Estel, son, 12; Charles, son, 7; Nola, dau, 5 1/12; Girtie, granddau, 4. All born Ky Ky Ky.

Girtie is the daughter of Sam and Martha’s son Everett. Samuel S. Stamper was appointed guardian of Gertie Stamper by the Kentucky court on 17 January 1930.
