Floyd Co. marriage records list Henry Easterling m. Frances Elam, on 13 Aug 1820, by William Coffee.

Floyd County, Ky marriage bonds contain this consent note dated Aug 8 1820: “The clerk of Floyd County court will please to issue a license for my daughter Francina Elam to marry Henry Easterling. Signed Walter Elam Bond Richard Elam”

1850 census of Morgan Co., Ky, records on page 91, as family #70:
Henry Easterling Sr., 50, b. Va, farmer; Francina, 40, b. Va; Susannah, 22; Jeremiah, 18; Richard, 16; Thomas, 14; Agnancy, 10 (fem). All children born in Kentucky.

The age for Francina is almost certain wrong, because if she is the same Frances whom Henry married in 1820, being 40 in 1850 would make her 10 at marriage. Another indication of a higher age is that there are no [surviving] children born after 1840. She is probably really 45 to 49.

Their son Henry Jr. is missing from this census. If the age on his death certificate and the 1860 census are correct, he should be 11 years old. I cannot find him living with any other family, so it may be simply a recording error. Lucinda is also missing.
