Do not confuse him with the William B. Elliott born 13 Jan 1852, son of Commodore Perry Elliott and Mary Fannin, who married Louisa F. Dyer.

Burns, M.D., Morehead, Ky, burial in Pine Hill.

Morgan Co., Ky marriage records list the marriage on 5 Aug 1872 of William B. Elliott and Didama Robinson, at W. M. Caskey’s by W. W. Cox, witnesses Joseph Perry Jr. and Jesse Dehart.

1880 census of Morgan Co., Ky, Blairs Mill precinct, enumerated in June (page undated), lists on p. 15 as family #128:
Elliott, William, 34, farmer, b. Ky Ky Ky; Damie, 41, wife, b. Ky Ky Tenn; Amanda, 6, dau; Lillie, 4, dau; Gardner, 3, son; Robinson, Emma, 16, stepdau. All children born Ky Ky Ky.

In the 1900 census, Lillie is recorded as born May 1876, and Garland is recorded as born Nov 1876. Two children of the same mother cannot be born six months apart, so either Lillie was really born in 1875, or Garland was really born in 1877.

1900 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Morehead precinct, enumerated 11 June, lists on p. 8B as family #161:
Elliott, William, 54, b. Nov 1845, farmer; Damia, wife, 62, b. Nov 1837, married 27 years, mother of 7 children, 7 living; Amanda, sister, 63, b. Jan 1837, single. All born Ky Ky Ky.

The next household is headed by Garner Lewis, age 23, b. Nov 1876, with wife Della born May 1875.
