Notes for Mary Elizabeth Wolf
The death certificate of their son Charles Jefferson Goldie, known as Jeff, gives his mother’s maiden name as Sarah Elizabeth Wolf. But all the census records (1850 through 1870) show Henry’s wife as Mary. While it is possible that Henry and perhaps some of the other children born before 1850 had a different mother, than those born after 1850, it is more probable that the informant on Jefferson’s death certificate, Dr. C. T. Jones, was simply mistaken about the maiden name of Jeff’s mother.
All the death certificates that I’ve located for their other children have “unknown” for the mother’s maiden name.
Notes for Henry & Mary Elizabeth (Family)
I have a file of Tazewell Co., Virginia marriages between 1804 and 1853, and there are no Goldy (or variant spelling) marriages on it. So they were apparently married in a different county, perhaps Montgomery.
Census
1850 census of Tazewell Co., Virginia, Western district, enumerated 29 Sep, lists on p. 185 as family #1243:

1860 census of Tazewell Co., Virginia, Eastern district, enumerated 28 June, lists on pp. 74-75 as family #490/484:
Henry Golden, 46, farm laborer; Mary, 47; Elisabeth, 18; Charles J., 16; William, 13; Rebecca, 11; Shelvy, 8; Jackson, 4. All born in Virginia.

Gouldy, Henry, 53, farmer; Mary, 56; Rebecca, 20; Henry, 16; Jackson, 14; Matilda, 2, b. Ky. All except Matilda born in Virginia.
Matilda is probably a granddaughter, since Henry and Mary had a daughter Matilda born about 1839.
