Census
1850 census of Morgan Co., Ky, p. 129, family #582:
Jesse Con, 62; Mary, 63; Josiah, 25; Mary, 14; Jackson, 12; Rosannah, 7; Washington, 6.
There is a "Virginia" in the birthplace column for Jesse, and ditto marks in all the others. This might mean they were really all born in Virginia, but it more likely means that somewhere down the line the enumerator forgot to put in a Ky. The two youngest children are almost certainly grandchildren, probably children of Samuel, and the two adolescents may be as well, but unfortunately the 1850 census did not ask for relationships.
